At Naturize, your privacy matters to us. This page explains in simple, honest language what data we collect (very little), what we do with it (almost nothing), and your rights.
1. What We Collect
When you use Naturize, we collect the minimum possible:
- Text you paste — sent to Groq AI to process. It is not stored by us after processing.
- Usage counts — stored in your browser's localStorage (on your own device) to track your daily free tier usage. We never see this data.
- Theme preference — dark or light mode, stored in your browser locally.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not create user accounts or store personal profiles.
- We do not store, log, or sell your text after it is processed.
- We do not track you with cookies or third-party trackers.
- We do not require your email, name, or any personal information to use the tool.
3. Groq AI API
Your text is sent to Groq AI (via a secure server-side proxy) to generate humanized text or AI detection results. Groq processes this under their own privacy policy. We recommend not submitting sensitive personal information through any AI tool.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads from Google AdSense to keep the free tier sustainable. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
5. Analytics
We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) to understand how many people use the site and which features are popular. This data is aggregated and never linked to individual users.
6. Data Security
Your text is sent to our API over HTTPS (encrypted). Your Groq API key is stored as a secure server environment variable — it is never exposed in the browser or frontend code.
7. Children's Privacy
Naturize is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We recommend checking back occasionally.
